The role

Set the pace for agile squads at the heart of banking transformation. Are you looking for a role where agile facilitation combines with real strategic and technical impact? To support a major player in the banking sector based in Lyon, for one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Scrum Master capable of instilling strong team dynamics, optimizing delivery, and challenging complex application architectures.

Your daily missions Unite and grow the collective: Facilitate agile ceremonies, establish a culture of continuous improvement within the squad, and streamline cross-functional synchronization with business lines, architecture, and other IT teams.

Challenge technique and estimates: Thanks to your solid technical background, analyze the feasibility of proposed solutions as an equal, evaluate the consistency of workload estimates, and resolve implementation ambiguities.

Manage risks and secure deliveries: Proactively identify dependencies, anticipate friction points, and orchestrate operational remediation plans.

Optimize capacity and resource allocation: Anticipate the team's workload/capacity balance to ensure predictable, regular, and high-quality releases.

Lead large-scale strategic projects: Work on key sector journeys (Digital Customer Journey, Advisor Tools, Debt Collection, performance indicators & KPI).

The profile we're looking for

Profile sought Education & Experience: With a Master's degree (Master 2, Engineering or Management School), you have at least 7 years of successful experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, or Agile Project Manager on complex IT projects.

Technical culture

Mastery of hybrid ecosystems articulating distributed / Open environments (microservices, API, cloud) and historical transactional bases (Host / Mainframe).

Proven ability to communicate effectively with developers and architects to challenge technical choices.

Sector: Prior knowledge of the banking or retail finance environment is a significant asset.

Soft skills & Leadership

Rigor, tenacity, resilience, and a keen sense of multi-priority organization.

Strong synthesis capacity (executive reporting, delivery KPIs, pragmatic action plans).

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to anticipate, and managerial courage to raise alerts appropriately.
