Change careers with Actual
A career change is not something you decide on a whim. It needs to be tested, funded, and supported. At Actual, we move forward with you.

Retraining without risking everything
It's the typical bottleneck: stopping work to train, nobody can afford that for long. At Actual, career changes happen during assignments, through training, or both; with an income, a contract, and a dedicated contact person who manages your file from start to finish.
- Try out a job on assignment before committing
- Train during periods between assignments, with funding support
- Take stock with an advisor, free of charge, before deciding
- Target a hiring sector near you, not an abstract idea
Not yet a temporary worker with Actual? The process is the same: we talk about what you know how to do, not what is missing from your CV.
Four ways to change careers with us

Temporary work as a stepping stone
Try the job before you commit
A two-week assignment teaches you more about a job than three months of research. You work, you get paid, and you find out if the pace, environment, and hands-on tasks are right for you. If they are, we move on to longer assignments and, whenever possible, a permanent contract (CDI). If not, you haven't lost anything.
- A career assessment with your agency: what you already know how to do
- A first discovery assignment in your target sector
- A debrief after the assignment to plan the next steps
- A real contract, a real salary, from your very first assignment
- Practical experience to add to your CV
- FASTT support from your very first assignment: housing, childcare, mobility
- You are hesitating between two jobs
- You want to leave a sector without knowing where to go next
Assignments starting as early as next week in most agencies.

Ergos
If the road is longer, we won't let you walk it alone
Returning to work when you have been unemployed for a long time, when you don't have a driver's license, childcare, or the required level of French, is not just about qualifications. Ergos, Actual's integration network, works on both at the same time: the assignment and what gets in the way of it.
- France's No. 1 for social integration through temporary work, with around one hundred agencies in France and its overseas territories
- Individual support for up to two years while you work
- Mobility, childcare, housing, health, digital skills, French language: all addressed with you
- Qualifying training: certifications, CIPI, CDPI, operational preparations
Unqualified youth, seniors, workers with disabilities, long-term job seekers, RSA beneficiaries: this is for you.

FAQ
Your questions, our answers
No. A large portion of the jobs our clients recruit for are learned through on-the-job training, not degrees: order picking, laborer, production operator, shelf stacker. We start there, and add a qualification when it becomes necessary.
Yes, in fact, it's the most common scenario. Short training courses are arranged between two assignments, or alongside a part-time assignment. With a CDI intérimaire, the periods between assignments are designed exactly for this.
It depends on the target job. A CACES or an authorization takes a few days. An HGV license with FIMO takes a few weeks. A professional certification or a healthcare qualification takes several months. Your advisor will give you the actual schedule right from your first conversation.
No. Discussions with your advisor and, if applicable, your skills assessment are confidential. You decide what you share and when.
You have access to additional funding schemes through France Travail, especially when the training leads to a job offer or a specific assignment. Your agency will make the connection.
Not for the companies calling us. In most high-demand sectors, experience and reliability matter more than age.
