The role

The recruitment firm ACTUAL is looking, on behalf of its client, for a Setter (M/F) based in Saint-Jean-de-Soudain (38110).

Integrated into a human-sized company (about 30 employees), you will work on a 5-axis DMG MORI machining center, equipped with Siemens controls. We are looking for an experienced professional capable of both operating and setting up the machine.

Your missions

Ensure mass production on existing programs.

Perform the necessary settings for the proper functioning of the machining center.

Occasionally make program modifications according to production needs.

Check the conformity of parts and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Conditions

Permanent contract (CDI) to be filled immediately.

2x8 shift schedule

Week 1: 5am 1pm
Week 2: 1pm 9pm

The profile we're looking for

Bac Pro, BTS or equivalent training in machining, mechanical production or machining technician.

Proven experience (2 to 5 years minimum) as an operator-setter on CNC machining centers, ideally on DMG MORI or 5-axis machines, or possibly 4-axis with Siemens language.

Mastery of Siemens language and ease in reading, analyzing and modifying NC programs.

Solid skills in setting, tooling, zero point setting, as well as dimensional control (calipers, micrometer, gauges).

Autonomy, rigor and high standards in terms of quality.

Ability to work effectively in a team and manage mass production.

Taste for versatility, continuous improvement and optimization of machining processes.
