Job offer : Control and Metrology Operator (M/F)

The Actual Chazelles-sur-Lyon agency is looking for a Control and Metrology Operator (M/F) for its client located in the Monts du Lyonnais.

Missions:

• Quality control and product compliance: performing dimensional and visual inspections at all stages of manufacturing according to technical instructions and drawings, using simple to complex measuring instruments; systematic recording of results on QMS documents (inspection reports).
• Non-conformity management: identifying deviations from standards and customer requirements, investigating causes, drafting and formalizing non-conformity reports, and applying treatments requested by management.
• Metrology and equipment maintenance: active participation in calibration, adjustment, and maintenance operations for measuring devices (in the metrology room and in the workshop); ensuring tools are correctly set.
• Customer relations and internal awareness: occasional participation in product inspections with customers and inspection bodies; raising production team awareness of self-inspection and regular reporting to the line manager.
• Organization and safety: maintaining order and cleanliness in the inspection area; mandatory wearing of PPE (safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, work overalls, hearing protection), compliance with handling/traffic rules, and immediate reporting of any malfunction or risky situation.

Job conditions:

• Temporary contract, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Daytime hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (45-minute break)
• Start date: As soon as possible

Profile sought:

We are looking for a competent, motivated Control and Metrology Operator (M/F) with excellent interpersonal skills and exemplary rigor.

You have a perfect command of reading technical drawings, using measurement and dimensional control instruments, as well as office tools and ERP systems.

Autonomous and responsible for product compliance as well as metrological monitoring (calibration, equipment maintenance), you know how to identify, declare, and handle non-conformities in compliance with safety rules and the QMS.
