Job offer : Refuse collection truck driver (M/F)

Our ERGOS Roussillon agency is recruiting a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Refuse Collection Driver (M/F) for one of its clients located in Ampuis (69).

As a refuse collection vehicle driver, you will be responsible for

• Preparing the vehicle before the start of the shift (safety checks and standard inspections);
• Driving the refuse collection truck in compliance with traffic laws and safety instructions;
• Ensuring the smooth collection of household waste in collaboration with the collection crew;
• Ensuring the compliance and safety of the load;
• Completing administrative documents related to your activity and keeping the logbook up to date;
• Performing routine vehicle maintenance and reporting any anomalies or mechanical failures;
• Respecting the procedures and safety rules in force at our client's site.

Job conditions

• Temporary work assignment
• Remuneration: €13.99 gross/hour + bonuses
• Hours: 5:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Profile sought

• You hold a valid C license, up-to-date FIMO/FCO, and a driver card.
• You are recognized for your seriousness, punctuality, and sense of responsibility.
• Previous experience in driving a refuse collection truck or waste collection is an asset, but applications from motivated HGV drivers will also be considered.
• You enjoy teamwork, know how to demonstrate vigilance, and place particular importance on respecting safety instructions.
