Job offer : Tooling Technician (M/F)
The role
Reporting to the Tooling Maintenance Supervisor, you ensure the availability and reliability of the stamping tools used on production presses.
In this capacity, your main missions are
- Perform preventive and curative maintenance operations on stamping tools.
- Diagnose malfunctions and ensure the repair of tools while respecting production deadlines.
- Carry out adjustment, inspection, assembly, and repair operations for tooling.
- Analyze the causes of breakdowns, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to increase the reliability of the tooling and reduce production downtime.
- Actively participate in the site's continuous improvement process by contributing to the optimization of maintenance methods, equipment reliability, and the development of preventive maintenance.
- Record interventions in the CMMS (SAP PM) and monitor the operations performed.
- Apply Quality, Safety, and Environmental requirements and contribute to the site's industrial performance by sharing best practices and being proactive.
The profile we're looking for
You have a background in mechanics, industrial maintenance, machining, or tooling (vocational qualification or equivalent). Ideally, you have initial experience in tooling maintenance, precision mechanics, stamping, or machining.
You master all or part of the following skills
- Reading mechanical drawings;
- Mechanical adjustment and assembly;
- Dimensional inspection;
- Preventive and curative maintenance;
- Use of workshop machines (lathe, milling machine, welding…);
- Use of a CMMS (SAP PM is a plus).
