Job offer : Fiber optic technician (M/F)

Actual Paris Electricité is looking for one of its clients for a Fiber Optic Technician (M/F) for a long-term mission. Position based in (75). Our client specializes in general electricity and has a dual specialty focused on connected technologies.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will work independently on the deployment and maintenance of telecommunication networks.

Prepare interventions based on technical files and pulling plans.

Ensure the pulling of fiber optic cables in aerial and underground environments.

Carry out the installation of boxes, connection by fusion (welding), and cabling of optical sockets.

Perform commissioning tests, photometry measurements, and reflectometry.

Locate and troubleshoot any malfunctions or failures on the network.

From a background in electricity or fire safety specialist.

• You are serious and punctual.
• You know how to work independently; rigor, technique, respect, and mastery of safety procedures are essential prerequisites for this position.
• You have a technical background (Electrotechnics, Telecoms, IRCC) and can justify a first successful experience in a similar position.
• You master arc welding techniques (fusion splicer), the use of optical measuring devices, and safety rules related to working at heights or on public roads.
