Job offer : Logistics Manager (M/F)

Main missions

LOGISTICS

• Ensure initial and ongoing training for teams
• Ensure the safety and hygiene of people and property
• Report stock anomalies or any other anomalies observed in the warehouse to your line manager
• Guarantee compliance with internal service procedures and logistics specifications
• Guarantee team productivity (preparation, replenishment)
• Guarantee the quality of team work in accordance with internal procedures
• Ensure proper product rotation and entry into stock to limit breakage and stock anomalies
• Ensure the reliability of entries/exits to secure stock and avoid shortages and/or customer missing items
• Ensure the receipt of deliveries from the purchasing center and/or direct suppliers
• Optimize storage layout and surface area (picking zones, pallet racks, etc.)

TEAM MANAGEMENT

• Supervise an operational and administrative team
• Ensure monitoring and proper compliance with team attendance schedules
• Ensure the monitoring and reporting of team payroll variables (absences, delays, leave, etc.) in real time to your line manager and the human resources department.
• Regularly hold job briefings with the employees in your department (preparers, replenishers, restockers, etc.)
• Value your team to promote skill development, autonomy, and versatility
• Organize the workday and anticipate human and material needs
• Implement participative management (organizing the start and end of the day, briefings)
• Reframe if necessary and implement first-level disciplinary procedures
• Conduct individual interviews with operators within your operational perimeter and propose development plans
• Apply and enforce HSE rules during on-site interventions
• Respect and ensure compliance with the internal regulations and safety instructions
• Establish requested reports and propose improvement actions
• Contribute to the evolution of operating procedures through feedback

Required skills

Mastery of inventory management software (WMS, Infomil, etc.)

• In-depth knowledge of logistics processes and applicable regulations
• Ability to manage a team Ability to report regularly and in real time on your actions to your line manager

Additional skills

• Knowledge of warehouse safety rules (HSE, gestures and postures, vehicle circulation)
• Mastery of logistics performance indicators (productivity, error rate, breakage rate, stock reliability)
• Organizational, planning, and priority management skills
• Interpersonal skills, ability to lead and unite a team
• Ability to manage conflict situations and reframe with discernment Rigor, responsiveness, and analytical sense
• Mastery of office tools (Excel, email) for reporting
