You are looking for a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) tanker driver position (M/F) based in La Rochelle 17000.

• This role involves checking the condition of the truck and its maintenance, supplying the tanker with products, delivering petroleum products in tankers according to mission orders, tracking delivery notes, and complying with the volumes to be delivered.
• Computerized recording of deliveries and any problems encountered is also part of your responsibilities. Overnight stays are to be expected.
• Position to be filled for a long term

Your week will consist of 35 hours, with an hourly wage of 12,90 € with meals, overnight stays when traveling / IFM / CP / MUTUELLE

The position of Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) tanker driver (M/F) requires a candidate with an education level equivalent to Level IV Title

• Baccalaureate, in a general, technological, professional, or equivalent field. In addition, 1 to 3 years of professional experience in the field is required.

For this position, the ideal candidate must demonstrate solid technical skills as well as great rigor. Mastery of safety procedures related to the transport of hazardous materials is essential. Furthermore, in-depth knowledge of current standards and regulations is paramount to ensure flawless missions.

The ability to handle emergency situations with calm and efficiency is also a major asset for this role. The candidate must demonstrate autonomy in organizing their routes while respecting the deadlines.

Good communication with various internal and external stakeholders is necessary to ensure good coordination of transport operations. Versatility and responsiveness are appreciated qualities to deal with unforeseen events and adapt to changes. Finally, mastery of computer tools dedicated to route and delivery management is a plus to optimize operational efficiency. Interpersonal skills and a developed sense of customer service are also important aspects for this position.
