The role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you take responsibility for a production team and ensure the management of your sector.

As a true field leader, your main missions are to

Drive production: guarantee safety, quality, cost, and deadline objectives, and ensure the smooth operation of the lines.
Manage and unite: organize work, support employees, develop skills, and enforce standards.
Provide your technical expertise: analyze process deviations, support operators/adjusters, and contribute to solving extrusion issues.
Deploy Lean: lead TOPS, visual management, Gemba Walks, and continuous improvement approaches.
Improve performance: monitor indicators (TRS/OEE, scrap, productivity) and mobilize your team around results.
Guarantee quality and safety: ensure the application of procedures and HSE rules.

The profile we're looking for

We are looking above all for a confirmed professional in plastic extrusion, endowed with a real managerial flair. You have:

Solid technical experience in plastic extrusion (essential).
Successful experience in production team management.
Good command of process parameters and technical problem solving.
Practice of Lean methods: visual management, TOPS, Gemba Walk, continuous improvement.

Beyond your technical skills, you are recognized for your leadership, your ability to make decisions, to maintain a clear framework, and to unite your teams, even in demanding situations.

Experience in multilayer extrusion or technical plastic sheet manufacturing would be a real plus.
