Job offer : Carpentry Workshop Manager (M/F)

Actual Meslay du Maine is looking for its client, based in Grez-en-Bouère (53290), for a Carpenter Workshop Manager (M/F) on a permanent contract. Your main missions: Within the workshop, you will be in charge of assembling wooden frameworks and managing a team of two employees, supporting them in their skills development. In this capacity, you will notably be required to:

• Read and interpret manufacturing plans.
• Assemble wooden frameworks on the ground.
• Use handling equipment (forklifts, etc.).
• Supervise, support, and train two employees.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of manufacturing methods and quality standards.

Additionally, one day a week, you will replace the operator on the cutting robot for simple machine operation.

Occasionally, you will also intervene to

• carry out layouts and take measurements after masonry work is completed; - unload merchandise deliveries in the absence of the warehouse clerk.

Working time: 39 hours per week. Remuneration: according to your profile and experience. Benefits: bonuses; profit-sharing; lunch coverage, including for sedentary employees.

You have training or significant experience in timber carpentry, ideally acquired in the agricultural sector. Endowed with an excellent team spirit and pedagogical qualities, you demonstrate rigor and organization. Ease with computer tools and good interpersonal skills are essential to succeed in this position.
