Job offer : Wheeled Excavator Operator (M/F)

We are recruiting a Wheeled Excavator Operator (M/F) to work on public works sites.

Under the responsibility of the team leader and within a site team, you will be required to

• Operate a wheeled excavator to carry out assigned tasks;
• Perform earthworks necessary for the sites;
• Carry out trench openings in accordance with plans and site instructions;
• Check the conditions of use and the proper functioning of the machine before operations;
• Participate in ground work as needed by the site;
• Participate in marking out and securing the work area;
• Perform the tidying up and routine maintenance of the intervention area;
• Apply safety instructions and procedures in force on the sites.

This position involves driving a construction machine as well as occasional ground interventions, particularly for marking out, tidying up, and assisting with work.

Conditions and qualifications

• Work on public works sites;
• Driving license B mandatory;
• CACES R482 category B1 (hydraulic excavators) mandatory;
• AIPR mandatory.

Experience in operating a wheeled excavator is sought.

You are able to

• Operate a wheeled excavator in accordance with safety rules;
• Perform earthworks and trench opening work;
• Use the machine in accordance with driving instructions and site documents;
• Identify potential operating anomalies and report them;
• Respect safety rules related to driving machines and working near networks;
• Participate in tasks performed on the ground in coordination with the site team.

Previous experience in the public works sector is an asset for the position.

The qualifications and authorizations necessary for operating the machine and for interventions near networks are mandatory for this position.
