Job offer : Cable Technician (M/F)

Are you looking for a stimulating opportunity in the field of electricity? The Actual agency is looking for a talented Cable Technician (m/f) to join a dynamic team in Saintes (17100).

Your main missions

You will be in charge of the assembly, wiring, and commissioning of electrical or hydraulic components. You will intervene with precision in the heart of cabinets, specialized equipment, as well as on various supports such as chassis or panels.

• Read and analyze technical files
• Analyze input data (design office plans) for simple devices
• Retrieve the equipment produced by the cabinet and sub-assembly cable technician and assemble it on the device
• Carry out the wiring routing on the device
• Make the electrical and hydraulic connections for each component
• Carry out the wiring of hydraulic sub-assemblies
• Check the electrical installation for power-up
• Perform adjustments prior to power-up
• Measure the performance characteristics of the devices
• Fill out the self-inspection sheet at the end of the project

To support our development, we are looking for a passionate and rigorous Cable Technician (m/f) with

• Technical knowledge: general electricity, electromechanics, hydraulics, industrial maintenance/equipment, pneumatics, and basic mechanical knowledge
• Knowledge of current safety standards regarding electrical installations
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic installation diagrams and plans
• Use of power tools, electrical measuring devices, and lifting equipment
