Job offer : Operations Assistant (M/F)

Actual is looking for an Operations Assistant (m/f) based in Valence.

As part of this 3-month contract starting as soon as possible, you will play a key role in the organization and operational management of our logistics activities.

Your main missions

Management and supervision: You lead and coordinate the team on a daily basis, managing schedules, tracking working hours, and training new employees to ensure optimal cohesion.

Operational management: You ensure field monitoring, supervise driver departures, conduct debriefings, and ensure the proper use of business tools (WAVE, SOLID, Diva). You are responsible for the traceability of collection documents.

QHSE guarantor: You scrupulously ensure compliance with safety and environmental rules. You lead safety talks, conduct management visits, and manage relationships with service providers.

Maintenance and continuous improvement: You plan the maintenance of rolling stock and equipment (compactors, containers). You actively participate in our Lean Management projects to optimize our routes and processes.

Working conditions

You work on a 35-hour per week basis with daily alternating hours (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM shifts). Telephone on-call duty is scheduled one Saturday out of five. Proficiency in Google tools (Sheets, Docs) is a plus for this position.

Hourly rate: 16.9624€ + Restaurant vouchers + transport allowance

As an Operations Assistant (m/f), you are the guarantor of fluidity and operational efficiency within our structure.

We are looking for an employee with proven experience in the field of logistics or transport, capable of managing flows with responsiveness and precision.

The ideal candidate has a Bac+2 to Bac+3 level of education in transport management or logistics. You demonstrate an excellent sense of organization as well as great interpersonal skills to coordinate field teams and satisfy our customers.

Your mastery of IT tools, particularly operations management software, is a major asset for optimizing our processes. Finally, we value a personality with a strong analytical capacity and a spirit of initiative, essential for solving unforeseen events with agility in a dynamic environment.
