Job offer : Maintenance technician (M/F)

ACTUAL CHÂTEAU-GONTIER is recruiting a Maintenance Agent (m/f) in DAUMERAY 49640.

Your missions will be as follows:

• Pre-diagnostics & technical assistance: identify simple malfunctions (abnormal noises, overheating, vibrations, leaks), perform visual checks, and document reports for technicians.
• 1st level maintenance: tightening, basic adjustments, replacement of consumables (plucker fingers, belts, seals, blades under instruction), greasing, and lubrication according to schedules.
• Securing interventions: securing zones, marking, placing LOTO padlocks/tags under the instruction of a qualified technician, verifying the absence of voltage/residual energy.
• Quality & hygiene controls (HACCP): apply cleaning/disinfection procedures after work, avoid any risk of foreign bodies (screws, blades, gloves) in the product zone; traceability of interventions.
• Reporting: fill out intervention forms, alert on safety drifts, propose improvements (ergonomics, breakdown prevention).

Cold environment (4°C), humid and noisy; frequent travel between sectors.

You hold a CAP/BEP or Bac pro in maintenance, or you have initial experience in an industrial/agri-food environment.

Required skills:

• Basic knowledge of mechanics, electromechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics (reading safety labels and pictograms).
• Mastery of trade gestures (changing blades/fingers, simple adjustments, greasing).
• Knowledge of HACCP rules, PPE, and LOTO procedures (lockout/tagout).
• Keen sense of safety and hygiene, team spirit, autonomy, and rigor.
