Job offer : Charterer / freight forwarder (M/F)

ACTUAL SAINT PRIEST is recruiting a Charterer / freight forwarder (M/F) for one of its clients based in Mions.

The national/international charterer or freight forwarder has the following main missions

• Organize the transport of goods from the docks to the departure of our docks
• Create "transport files" in the ERP
• Organize truck loading (depending on remaining space) with national or international partners
• Contact shippers/consignees to find out the schedules and possibilities for delivery/collection
• Coordinate the stages of the road transport service with partners and subcontractors
• Manage any issues that may arise during transport
• Send proof of delivery to foreign partners every day
• Contribute to ensuring a service that meets the company's objectives in terms of service quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability

Conditions:

Quick start in temporary work initially

Hourly rate to be defined according to profile and experience: between 12.50 and 13.50€

35h/week contract - daytime hours

A first experience in the transport or transit sector is appreciated to carry out your missions.

We are looking for a person with a Bac +2 level in Transport and Logistics, capable of working with rigor, with a good command of English and ensuring customer follow-up.

Beginners are also welcome.

Mastery of IT tools is essential, as is your interpersonal skills to interact effectively with national and international partners.
