Associate Thermal Engineer (M/F)

The role

Our team is supporting its client, a technical design office based in Rennes working on thermal study projects, in the recruitment of its future Associate Thermal Engineer (M/F) on a permanent contract (CDI).

Start date: Early 2027

You will join a structured team and have the opportunity to evolve into an associate role.

Your main missions/responsibilities will be as follows

Manage complex thermal studies (RE 2020, energy simulations)
Manage projects autonomously, from the commercial phase to client delivery
Be an internal technical reference and contribute to strategic decisions
Participate in business development: client loyalty, identification of new opportunities, responding to tenders
Supervise and structure the team, develop the skills of your collaborators
Contribute to internal organization and process improvement
Ensure technical, regulatory, and market monitoring

The profile we're looking for

Bac +2 to Bac +5 degree in thermal engineering, energy, or equivalent
Mandatory experience of at least 10 years in a thermal design office
Mastery of thermal calculation tools (Pléiades, Climawin, Perrenoud or equivalent)

Full-time CDI position
Remuneration: 40-50K€ depending on profile
