The Essentials of the Position

As a Polishing Technician, you will be responsible for grinding and polishing operations while respecting production objectives and quality rules. You will adapt machine parameters according to client specifications and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of processes. This position requires rigor, precision, and team spirit.

Your Main Missions

• Receive and analyze manufacturing files.
• Prepare and maintain polishing tools.
• Adjust machine parameters according to client specifications.
• Perform tests to validate parameters for new productions.
• Carry out grinding and polishing operations (single or double-sided).
• Implement special processes (molecular adhesion bonding, manual polishing, etc.).
• Perform self-inspection of operations throughout the process.
• Participate in solving production problems (breakdowns, non-conformities).
• Propose continuous improvements.

Profile Sought

Experience: Experience in a similar role is desired, with good knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Technical Skills

• Mastery of grinding and polishing manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of ISO and DIN standards.
• Mastery of optical control equipment.
