Job offer : Itinerant Diesel/HGV Technician (M/F)
The role
The Essentials of the Position: As part of a new position creation, we are recruiting an Itinerant Diesel Mechanic (M/F) to ensure the maintenance of generators and diesel engines directly at our clients' sites.
Your Main Missions: On-site Technical Intervention: Carry out contractual preventive maintenance visits on generators and diesel engines. Perform routine maintenance operations (oil changes, filter replacements). Carry out curative maintenance, repairs, and corrective work.
Diagnosis & Expertise: Develop precise diagnostics and take the necessary measurements to establish quotes. Perform load bank tests and carry out certain standard electrical work.
Customer Relations & Reporting: Write intervention reports with rigor. Guarantee customer satisfaction through a service and safety-oriented posture.
The profile we're looking for
Profile Sought: Education: You hold a Bac+2 level diploma (BTS Vehicle Maintenance, Systems Maintenance, or equivalent). Experience: You have solid experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar position (diesel mechanics, heavy goods vehicles, or generators).
Technical Skills: Mastery of diesel mechanics and internal combustion engines. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams.
Mobility & Soft Skills: Driving license B essential for daily itinerancy. You are autonomous, rigorous, and have a strong sense of customer service.

Remuneration and Benefits: Attractive remuneration: €35,000 to €42,000 gross annual depending on profile. Itinerancy package: Service vehicle (automatic van). Meal allowance of €13.50. Working conditions: 39h/week base (travel included, approx. 2h travel/day). Paid on-call duty: 1 week out of 6 (Bonus of €210/week + payment of travel hours).
