Job offer : R&D Chemical Technician (M/F)

As an R&D Chemical Technician, you play a strategic role in the development, optimization, and securing of synthesis processes before their transfer to industrial scale.

Your Main Missions

Safety and Analysis

Perform and interpret calorimetric tests and DSC analyses as part of safety studies prior to production.

Ensure rigorous monitoring of chemical reactions via routine analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, GPC, titration, TLC, NMR).

Development and Synthesis

Prepare chemical compounds (from laboratory scale to kilolab).

Develop and optimize robust, reliable, and industrializable organic synthesis routes, while mastering purification techniques (distillation, crystallization).

Industrialization and Support

Actively participate in the transfer of new processes to pilot and production workshops.

Assist manufacturing teams in understanding and resolving technical issues on site.

Working conditions

Full-time CDI position. Occasional telework possible.

Profile Sought

Experience: You have proven experience of at least 3 years in an industrial environment and/or in an R&D laboratory.

Technical Skills

You must hold a Bac +2/3 level diploma in Chemistry (IUT, Professional License, or equivalent).

In-depth knowledge of organic synthesis, process development, and managing scale-up constraints.

Proven skills or knowledge in process safety are essential.

Mastery of professional English (read and written).
