The role

Our ACTUAL BREST agency is looking for a MAG welder (M/F) for one of its clients in the Brest area. Your missions will consist of:

Welding hull elements and breaches on naval structures.
Performing welds on plates, bulkheads, decks and structural elements.
Assembling and welding metal parts according to plans and technical instructions.
Performing welds using the 136 process (flux-cored arc welding).
Repairing and reinforcing naval metal structures.
Visual inspection of welds and verification of their compliance.
Respecting quality requirements, welding procedures and safety rules.

As this position involves work on the naval base, it is necessary to possess a French ID card and a clean criminal record.

The profile we're looking for

Required experience in naval welding, ideally on hull structures.
Mastery of the 136 welding process.
Skills in welding plates, breaches, bulkheads, decks and naval structural elements.
Ability to prepare parts, make adjustments and perform tack welding before welding.
Knowledge of quality requirements and visual inspection of welds.
Rigor, precision and respect for safety instructions.

Autonomy, team spirit and ability to work in a naval environment.
