Job offer : Assistant Butcher Manager (M/F)

Are you passionate about the butchery trade and looking for a new challenge? We are looking for an Assistant Butcher Manager (M/F) to strengthen our client's team.

As the right-hand person to the manager, you will focus on two major areas. Firstly, technical mastery: you will handle meat preparation (cutting, trimming, peeling). Secondly, operational management: you will assist the manager in the daily running of the department, including ordering, stock management, margin monitoring, and team supervision.

This is a full-time position (40.75 hours per week). You will work from Monday to Saturday, with one day off per week, on a rotating schedule (5:15 AM/1:00 PM or 1:00 PM/8:30 PM). Compensation will be defined based on your profile and experience.

To fill the position of Assistant Butcher Manager, we are looking for someone passionate about food trades, with significant experience in traditional butchery or a supermarket meat department.

The ideal candidate perfectly masters the techniques of cutting, deboning, and trimming meat, while ensuring strict compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).

Equipped with an excellent sense of customer service, you know how to advise demanding clients with professionalism and friendliness. Your ability to manage and unite a team will be a major asset in assisting the manager with daily management, margin monitoring, and exemplary maintenance of the department.

A CAP or BP Boucher level qualification is highly appreciated, demonstrating your technical expertise. Your organizational skills, rigor, and adaptability will make you the essential partner for the success of the butchery department.
