Job offer : Diesel Activity Manager (M/F)
The role
Reporting to the After-Sales Service Manager, you will manage the Diesel activity by ensuring the quality of services, customer satisfaction, and the performance of your team of mobile diesel mechanics.
As a true technical reference and proximity manager, you will support your employees on a daily basis, organize interventions, ensure contract follow-up, and actively participate in the development of the activity.
Management and activity steering
- Supervise, support, and develop the skills of a team of mobile diesel mechanics.
- Organize and plan preventive and corrective maintenance interventions and works.
- Ensure compliance with deadlines, contractual commitments, and performance targets.
- Lead team meetings and ensure the monitoring of performance indicators.
Technical expertise
- Provide technical support during complex interventions.
- Validate diagnostics and support troubleshooting on generator set engines.
- Supervise major maintenance operations.
- Guarantee the technical quality of interventions carried out by the teams.
Customer relations and development
- Be the privileged contact for customers on technical and organizational aspects.
- Participate in technical assessments and site visits.
- Identify additional customer needs and contribute to the preparation of quotes.
- Support the commercial development of the activity by proposing adapted solutions.
Operational management
- Manage the monitoring of activity, maintenance contracts, and interventions.
- Ensure the availability of parts, equipment, and resources necessary for the teams.
- Participate in the budgetary monitoring of your activity.
- Guarantee the proper application of internal procedures and quality standards.
The profile we're looking for
With a Bac Pro to Bac+2 education in thermal engine maintenance, industrial mechanics, equipment maintenance, or equivalent, you have proven experience of at least 5 years in the maintenance of diesel engines, generator sets, or industrial equipment, complemented by a first successful experience in team management or coordination.
You are recognized for your technical skills
- Excellent mastery of diesel mechanics and thermal engines.
- Good knowledge of generator sets.
- Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Reading of mechanical and electrical plans and diagrams.
- Mastery of heavy maintenance operations and technical tests.
