Milling machine setter M/F permanent contract Saint-Chamond

Our recruitment agency is currently supporting one of its clients, a recognized industrial company on a human scale (approximately 100 employees), in the recruitment of its future Milling machine setter M/F on a permanent contract.

Your mission

At the heart of the production workshop, you play a key role in the quality and performance of machining. With complete autonomy, you ensure the setting, monitoring, and optimization of manufacturing operations.

Your responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and start milling machines
• Identify the different machining phases and define the appropriate parameters (speeds, feeds, lubrication, passes)
• Adjust and set cutting tools according to production needs
• Carry out machining of parts in small and medium series
• Check the conformity of parts (reading drawings, tolerances, surface finishes)
• Ensure traceability and fill out production documents with rigor
• Modify or create machining programs if necessary
• Follow the manufacturing schedule while respecting priorities

Training & skills

Machining training: BEP, Bac Pro or BTS (or equivalent)

Required technical skills

Mastery of machining techniques, in particular: Milling, Drilling, Good knowledge of ISO programming, Mastery of numerical controls, ideally on FANUC or HEIDENHAIN systems, Knowledge of cutting tools and different materials, Reading and interpretation of technical drawings
