Job offer : Cutting machine operator (M/F)

Actual Besancon is looking for a Cutting machine operator (M/F) for one of its clients for a long-term assignment with a real possibility of hiring.

Your daily missions

Under the supervision of a tutor, you will work on the key stages of production: assembly and disassembly of tools, setting up machines and engaging materials. You will guarantee the conformity of the manufacturing by following production orders, carry out frequent self-checks (reading blueprints, using calipers, micrometers, profile projectors) and ensure the packaging of finished parts. You will also ensure compliance with first-level maintenance rules.

Your profile

You have initial experience or training in the precision cutting sector. You are recognized for your meticulousness, manual dexterity, and ability to read technical drawings. Knowledge of YAMADA and BRUDERER presses would be a major asset.

Job conditions

Temporary employment contract

Day shifts during training, then transition to 2*8 team shifts (35 hours/week)

• Day: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM from Monday to Thursday and 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Friday
• Morning: 6:00 AM - 1:30 PM from Monday to Friday
• Afternoon: 1:15 PM - 9:00 PM from Monday to Thursday and 1:15 PM - 7:15 PM on Friday

Remuneration: Hourly rate between €13 and €13.50 gross/hour

Day shift bonuses: laundry allowance of €0.60 net per day worked + restaurant vouchers after 3 months of seniority

Team shift bonuses: meal allowance of €7 net per day worked + team bonus + laundry allowance of €0.60 net per day worked

To excel as a Cutting machine operator (M/F), you demonstrate great rigor and a keen sense of precision. We are looking for a person ideally with significant experience in a similar position, with a solid mastery of industrial cutting tools.

The ability to perform machine settings and make the necessary technical adjustments is essential to guarantee the quality of our production. A technical education such as a CAP or BAC PRO in mechanics or production engineering is a major asset to successfully carry out your missions.
