Job offer : Junior Legal Counsel CDD M/F

The mediation service at the FBF is looking for a junior legal counsel within its mediation department for a 6-month fixed-term contract. Several positions are available depending on your experience:

Your missions

• You will manage a portfolio of mediation files, under the supervision of your team leader and in interaction with other members of the mediation service at the FBF.

You will be specifically responsible for

• analyzing the various elements of the file (referral and client documents, including

technical elements transmitted by the bank),

• drafting an analysis proposal in accordance with legal rules (in particular the Consumer Code, Monetary and Financial Code) and in compliance with the mediator's doctrine, particularly equity,

• drafting a proposal for the mediator's opinion, sending the opinion, after its signature, to both parties (client and bank), collecting the responses from both parties and following the file until its closure.

• You may also be required to participate in drafting standard paragraphs or opinions on recurring situations, and in drafting the Mediator's annual report, particularly through the writing of case studies.
• You will participate in discussions within the team.

Upon your arrival, you will follow an integration path including several days within the team responsible for receiving and analyzing the admissibility of referrals under the supervision of the Mediator.

Holder of a Master 2 in Law (business law, banking law, or consumer law preferred), you have initial experience in a similar position in the banking sector.
