Job offer : Senior Industrial Excellence Engineer (M/F)

Actual Talent is supporting an international industrial group, a key player in its market for technical materials with a presence on several continents. As part of a structuring project to consolidate its European production in France, the group is bringing together several activities within a new factory located in the Yvelines department.

This project brings together the teams from a historic site in the Paris region (approximately 100 employees) and machines and activities transferred from another of the group's European sites (approximately 50 additional employees). A rare opportunity to contribute to the construction of a factory and its operational model. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and as a member of the industrial team, you will support the deployment of Industrial Excellence at the new site, while the transfer is already underway. You will contribute to the stabilization and ramp-up of operations, with a central challenge: establishing robust management routines that make performance visible, help teams prioritize the right subjects, and guarantee rigorous execution of improvement actions.

In this capacity, your main missions are as follows:

Define and deploy the Industrial Excellence roadmap for the new site, in line with ramp-up priorities and operational performance objectives.

Drive the implementation of management routines: daily performance management, multi-level meetings, visual management, escalation processes, KPI review, problem-solving, standards, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, and waste reduction.

Stabilize flows, workstation organization, operating standards, as well as roles and responsibilities during the ramp-up.

Integrate transferred equipment and activities into a single operational model, capitalizing on and standardizing best practices.

Train and coach production, logistics, maintenance, quality, and support teams at all levels to develop autonomy and ownership.

Lead cross-functional improvement projects: loss elimination, line performance, variability reduction, process simplification.

Drive change management among employees, managers, and stakeholders, and ensure the lasting anchoring of new operating methods.

Provide an Industrial Excellence perspective on Capex and layout decisions: flow, ergonomics, maintainability, safety, productivity, standardization.

Your profile

Engineering degree (industrial engineering, production, operations management, or equivalent).

6 to 10 years of experience in an industrial environment, including real responsibility for Lean, operational excellence, continuous improvement, or industrial transformation initiatives.

Proven field experience with performance management systems, supported by measurable results.

Influential leadership: you know how to engage operational teams without relying solely on hierarchy.

Experience in site ramp-up, industrial transfer, or major transformation is a real plus.

Fluent French and professional English are essential (international environment).

Structured, field-oriented, proactive, resilient, with a coaching mindset and a true passion for continuous improvement.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
