Our team of IT experts is recruiting for its client Scaleway, a Python Developer with a strong interest in databases.

Job descriptionThe business is experiencing strong growth, driven by issues of digital sovereignty, cloud, and critical infrastructure.

The team develops the platform that allows for the creation, deployment, administration, and maintenance of managed databases on demand, mainly around PostgreSQL and MySQL.

Your missions

Within an expert team composed of developers and DBAs, you will participate in the design, development, and evolution of a platform allowing the deployment and administration of managed databases.

You will work in particular on

• The development of new backend features

• The evolution of the platform's architecture

• High availability and resilience topics

• Automation and industrialization of operations

• PostgreSQL / MySQL performance and optimization issues

• Security and compliance challenges

Profile soughtYou have significant experience in backend development and wish to evolve in a demanding technical environment.

Ideally, you possess

• A solid mastery of Python and/or Go

• Experience with production systems

• A good understanding of relational databases

• A particular sensitivity to performance, SQL optimization, and data architecture issues

PostgreSQL or MySQL expertise will be particularly appreciated.

Position in CDI only based in Paris, Lille, Lyon, Rennes, Rouen, Bordeaux or Toulouse with 3 days of remote work possible per week.
