Job offer : Experienced Freight Train Driver (M/F)
The role
As a Freight Train Driver, you ensure the operation of freight trains while guaranteeing the safety, regularity, and performance of traffic.
In this capacity, you will be required to transport different types of flows
- Construction materials
- Agricultural products
- Hazardous materials (in strict compliance with regulations)
- Intermodal transport (swap bodies, containers, and trailers/trucks on trains)
Your responsibilities
- Ensure the operation of freight trains in compliance with rail safety rules
- Perform technical checks and regulatory tests before departure
- Apply operating procedures and report any incident or anomaly
- Ensure the smooth running of operations in coordination with traffic and production teams
- Guarantee the safety of transported goods and the quality of service
The profile we're looking for
- Holder of a valid European train driver license
- Psychological and medical clearances and driving authorizations up to date: European Driving License
Supplementary B2 certificate (B1 if passenger), copy of the validated initial train driver training certificate - Experience in driving freight trains
- Good command of rail regulations, safety procedures, and operating rules
- Knowledge of freight transport (materials, agricultural products, hazardous materials, intermodal transport) appreciated
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with operational teams
