Job offer : Butcher (M/F)

Are you passionate about the food industry and looking to join a dynamic team? We are recruiting a Butcher (m/f) in Vern-sur-Seiche.

In this role, you will be responsible for the quality of meat products. Your main tasks will involve mastering cutting techniques with precision, advising customers with expertise, and ensuring strict compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.

The position is to be filled under a full-time contract of 40.75 hours per week.

Your work schedule: Monday to Saturday, with one day off per week. You will work in rotating shifts: 5:15 AM-1:00 PM or 1:00 PM-8:30 PM. Remuneration will be defined based on your profile and experience.

To excel as a Butcher (m/f), you demonstrate excellent mastery of meat cutting, deboning, and trimming techniques, while ensuring a neat presentation of products.

The ideal candidate ideally has previous successful experience in traditional butchery or large-scale retail, demonstrating their ability to work with different cuts of meat with precision.

Holding a CAP or BEP in Butchery is highly appreciated, although we value your technical know-how and passion for the profession above all else.

With excellent interpersonal skills, you are committed to advising customers with expertise and friendliness, while scrupulously respecting hygiene and food safety rules (HACCP).
