Job offer : Production Agent (M/F)

Our agency is recruiting on behalf of a historic industrial company in the Ardennes, recognized for its metallurgical expertise in foundry work, molding, and the manufacturing of technical cast iron parts intended for demanding sectors (railway, tooling, construction, industrial mechanics).

Located in the heart of the Meuse metallurgical valley, our partner is looking for a Foundry Operator / Production Agent (M/F) to strengthen its production lines.

• Your missions
• Integrated into the production team and supervised by an experienced team leader, you will work directly on the manufacturing line:

Molding and preparation: Prepare, assemble, and position molds and cores according to manufacturing sheets.

Casting and melting: Participate in feeding operations, monitoring the pouring of liquid metal, and shake-out of parts after cooling.

Finishing and trimming: Perform deburring, grinding, and shot blasting operations to remove burrs and impurities from raw parts.

Inspection and sorting: Visually check the surface condition of finished parts, identify any non-conformities, and sort the parts.

Handling and storage: Handle parts and tools using handling equipment (overhead crane, hoist, forklift depending on certifications).

Safety: Systematically wear personal protective equipment (appropriate PPE) and strictly respect workshop safety protocols.

Your profile

You ideally have initial experience in an industrial environment (foundry, forge, metallurgy, mechanics, quarries) or in a demanding manual trade (construction, public works, crafts).

Motivated, enduring beginners willing to learn a real industrial trade are accepted.

You tolerate the physical constraints of working in a thermal workshop (heat, lifting loads, noise, and dust with protection).

Holding an overhead crane (R484) or forklift (R489) license is an appreciated asset.

Sense of safety, punctuality, rigor, and team spirit are essential.
