Actual group becomes the employment partner of the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe
Involved in offshore racing for 25 years, Actual group has maintained a passionate and lasting relationship with the sea.
After supporting sailor Yves Le Blévec for many years and now Anthony Marchand at the helm of Actual Ultim 4, the group is taking a logical step in its partnership: putting its core business (employment, recruitment, and skills development) directly at the service of a legendary race and the French maritime economy.
Recruiting and coordinating the workforce for the St Malo start village
Every edition of the Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe turns St Malo into a bustling hub. But beyond the sporting competition, the event is a genuine driver of economic dynamism for the region. In 2022, the start village, featuring no fewer than 150 exhibitors, welcomed 1.5 million visitors. This year once again, as soon as the village opens on Tuesday, October 20, we will need to be ready to ensure the smooth running of the event.

This partnership builds a direct bridge to the group's daily social purpose: connecting men and women with work, right where the event takes place. Relying on its network of 600 agencies across the country, and particularly on its strong presence in the Loire region (editor's note: the group's headquarters are located in Mayenne), Actual group demonstrates its ability to mobilize the right talent for roles that are often in short supply. The company will recruit around a hundred people across various fields:
- Reception & visitor relations: hosts, hostesses, and orientation staff to guide spectators
- Logistics & handling: operational teams for the setup and management of the village
- Hospitality & catering: waiting staff and bartenders to bring the village to life
- Cleaning & maintenance: staff ensuring hygiene and upholding the eco-responsible values of the site
Jobs that combine professional experience with an exciting behind-the-scenes immersion in one of the greatest offshore racing events. Gaining experience at an event of this scale is clearly one of the best ways to boost your skills.
