Merger of Envergure and Retravailler EGP: The birth of a major player in career guidance, support, and professional development
To meet the challenges of the labor market, and in particular the goal of full employment, Envergure, a subsidiary of Actual group, and Retravailler EGP are joining forces. A new player in job search support, with enhanced expertise and an expanded regional network.
The merger between two benchmark organizations in training and career support reflects Actual group's commitment to consolidating resources dedicated to the "right to work for all". Retravailler EGP, historically committed to women's employment and more broadly mobilized against all forms of inequality, is joining Envergure, a specialist in guidance, support, training, and professional development. The new entity, which also includes the FEL network in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, offers an optimal regional footprint. Its 264 centers across the country will enable its 1,063 employees to deliver local service and provide tailored individual and group support to targeted audiences.
The newly created organization, operating under the single name Envergure, becomes the third-largest French player in its market. This national reach and strength, combined with a strong local presence, enable it to present a unified voice in public tenders, positioning itself as a key partner for employment and integration policies. Envergure and Retravailler EGP are thus cementing the long-term partnerships developed over the past five years to meet the needs of regions, candidates, and businesses, primarily through public contracts. These collaborative experiences have reinforced mutual trust, effective teamwork, and a shared foundation of core values between the two networks' teams.
Behind the merger of Envergure and Retravailler EGP lies the drive to address tomorrow's employment support challenges. Deploying innovative solutions and implementing new career path design for skills development are central to this new player's ambitions. Retravailler EGP's specific expertise—for instance, in outplacement and professional integration for people with disabilities—will enhance the know-how of Envergure's teams. This strategic union will make it possible to go further in achieving Actual group's goal of "work for all."
