Actual group strengthens its presence in Réunion by integrating Alter Ego, a network of temporary work, integration, recruitment and training agencies

Actual group continues its strategic development by expanding its presence in the French Overseas Departments and Regions (DROM). This integration strengthens Actual group's already significant presence in the West Indies and French Guiana, while expanding its activities to Réunion.

A tailored response to the needs of the island's businesses

Aware of the specific challenges faced by Overseas territories regarding employment, Actual group is resolutely tackling the job challenge on Réunion Island, where unemployment reaches nearly 18% of the active population. By combining Alter Ego's resources and expertise with its own Envergure guidance network already established on the island, Actual group strengthens its capacity to offer an even more targeted and tailored response to local businesses as well as mainland French groups operating in Réunion. This integration is part of Actual group's vision to offer employment and skill development solutions and support companies in finding or creating the skills they need.

Founded in December 2009 by Virginie Boireau, Alter Ego has 6 agencies located in Saint-Denis, Le Port, Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul, and enjoys a solid reputation in the sector with an annual turnover of €30M.

About Alter ego

The Alter Ego Group is a major player in Human Resources in Réunion, whose core business is temporary staffing. Its services have evolved over the years to offer comprehensive HR expertise to Réunion companies. In 2021, the Group created KAPTIV, a recruitment agency and training organization. In 2023, a new entity was created, ÉKITÉ, an Inclusive Temporary Staffing Company (Entreprise de Travail Temporaire d’Insertion), to promote the professional integration of individuals distant from the labor market through tailored support.
