Actual group launches the construction of its new headquarters in Laval
Three months after suspending its project amid economic and political uncertainty, Actual group announces the construction of its future headquarters in Laval (Mayenne). A decision that marks a new step in the development of the group, which is now present across France and internationally.
A new headquarters to support the group's growth
The future building, with a surface area of 8,200 sq m, designed by architect Antoine Gicquel, will be built in Laval on land acquired by the group near Espace Mayenne. Construction is expected to last 18 to 24 months, with delivery planned for 2028. This new headquarters is designed to support Actual group's growth. In twenty years, the group has multiplied its revenue by 35. Its current headquarters, inaugurated in 2002, has become too small to accommodate the teams and new working practices. The future building will notably make it possible to bring together teams from all over France and to develop spaces dedicated to training, onboarding new employees, and collective work.
A project suspended last November
Last November, Samuel Tual, Chairman of Actual group, decided to publicly suspend the project amid economic and political uncertainty. The adoption of the Finance Act for 2026 has since ruled out the measures that posed a direct risk to employment and business development for the year ahead.
“In November 2025, I chose to suspend this project because certain government measures then under debate posed a direct risk to employment and business activity. The context did not allow us to commit to an investment of this scale with confidence. Today, these immediate risks have been removed and, even if not all uncertainties have disappeared, the context once again allows us to project into the long term.”

A long-term investment
The construction of this new headquarters is part of a long-term approach.
“Building a headquarters is a two-year project and a commitment for the next twenty years. Our business is work: finding or creating the skills companies need and enabling as many people as possible to access employment. Beyond the current economic situation, it is likely that our role will be sustainably useful for businesses and society as a whole. This future building should allow us to continue preparing the job market of tomorrow.”
