Actual group acquires recruitment agency Clémentine, a recognized specialist in recruiting digital, IT, data, and cybersecurity talent
This new acquisition feeds into the development project of the group's Talent Management division and expands the offering of its recruitment consulting firms (CCLD, Batenborch, Up Skills, Kobaltt, and Talent People) in the constantly growing Digital and IT sector. It also strengthens the group's positions in the middle up and executive search segment.
Founded in 2000 by Emmanuel Stanislas, Clémentine has recognized expertise in France's digital ecosystem. Today, this experience enables it to showcase genuine know-how in recruiting this notoriously specific talent pool. This experience is also bolstered by a powerful, qualified network of over 100,000 candidates in its areas of intervention. This network consists of a talent pool of candidates who are known, assessed, and monitored in terms of their career progression and motivations.
Clémentine has 15 expert team members in Paris and Marseille and completes nearly 150 recruitments a year with revenues exceeding €2.2 million.

Acceleration of digital and high-demand roles
Faced with the growing need of an increasing number of companies embarking on their transformation and accelerating their digitalization, we needed to find solutions to meet our clients' expectations and transformation challenges. By integrating Clémentine today and drawing on their IT and digital recruitment expertise, we are empowering ourselves to deliver a quality service that helps companies select the best profiles in this highly candidate-short market.
This acquisition also creates a strong alliance with the Holberton School program initiated by Actual group in 2021 to deploy a unique model of next-generation schools to train and offer the best digital profiles on the job market. This collaboration enables us to combine our recruitment expertise through Clémentine with the resources and opportunities offered by the Holberton School program. Together, we are determined to meet companies' needs by providing qualified talent tailored to the challenges of the digital market.
Developing skills to meet business needs
France and its businesses are facing a complex and constantly evolving landscape. At the heart of this dynamic, the employment sector is confronted with major challenges requiring deep reflection and bold solutions. Persistent unemployment in certain regions coexists with sectors experiencing shortages of qualified labor. This imbalance highlights the need to align job seekers' skills with business needs. To achieve this, we must develop new courses and innovative teaching methods (accessibility for all, experiential learning, soft skills development, etc.) that enable rapid operational readiness. It is essential to develop training and career retraining programs, in close collaboration with public and private stakeholders, to help workers adapt to the changing demands of the job market and ultimately find a job they choose rather than endure.
Addressing concerns and seizing opportunities in the technological transition
Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics… the arrival of new technologies brings both enthusiasm and concern to the workplace. While these innovations undeniably offer opportunities by automating certain repetitive tasks and boosting productivity, they also raise questions about the future of certain professions and the need to train employees in tomorrow's skills. We must seize this opportunity to anticipate changes and promote a responsible and ethical digital transformation. By investing in research and development, we will better understand how technology can be an asset for businesses and workers alike, driving innovation and economic growth. Alongside Patrick Martin and all the members of the Mouvement des Entreprises de France, this new mandate is an opportunity for Samuel Tual to reaffirm his positive vision of work and his humanistic view of business, while committing to “Acting together for responsible growth,” MEDEF's purpose.
“Thanks to this acquisition and our partnership with Holberton School, we are consolidating our position as the preferred partner for companies seeking the best digital talent. This acquisition strengthens our position in the IT market and will allow us to offer effective and innovative solutions to support our clients through their digital transformation, ready to meet the challenges of an ever-evolving tech market and help our clients grow in this dynamic environment.”
