The role

Actual Talent Metz is looking for an IT specialist for its client, a Database Administrator (M/F) in Metz as part of an interim assignment.

As part of a team reinforcement to support the evolution of its infrastructures, our client is entrusting the responsibility of its system and database environments to an experienced profile.

Your main missions / responsibilities will be as follows:

Administer and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and Docker container environments in operational condition to ensure high availability.
Ensure the administration, performance optimization, configuration, and consistency of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
Define and execute backup policies, validate restoration procedures, and ensure overall data integrity.
Continuously supervise the availability, resilience, and service continuity of the information system infrastructures.
Lead the resolution of major incidents, analyze root causes, and actively participate in the implementation of business continuity/disaster recovery plans (BCP/DRP).
Design, test, and deploy new technical architectures meeting business challenges and security standards.
Coordinate technical evolution projects and manage relations with external providers and publishers.
Monitor IS vulnerabilities, apply necessary security patches, and administer the authorization and access policy.

Long-term assignment: 6 months minimum
Salary: from 34k to 38k gross annual

The profile we're looking for

Profile sought:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, systems and networks or equivalent training.
4 to 6 years of minimum experience in a similar position combining systems and DBMS.
Advanced mastery of Windows Server environments and Linux distributions.
Solid expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL database administration.
Confirmed practice of containerization with Docker and virtualization architectures.
Mastery of cybersecurity concepts, vulnerability management, IS operations, and business continuity/disaster recovery plans (BCP/DRP).
