The role
Main missionEnsure finishing operations (precision machining, excluding roughing) on rotating rotor parts.
Activities and responsibilitiesPrecision machining: Perform finishing of parts on a parallel lathe or grinding machine. Compliance with requirements: Work in strict accordance with technical drawings and defined quality objectives. Part handling: Handle heavy parts ranging from 2 to 20 tons.
The profile we're looking for
TrainingDiploma: CAP, BEP or Bac Pro in Mechanics or Turning.
Certification: Overhead crane license (internal training provided).
Machining: Proficiency in parallel lathe and grinding machine. Metrology: Expert use of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, comparators, bore gauges, Millitron). Quality control: Performance of geometric checks (run-out) via electronic sensors and IT tools. Soft skills & AptitudesPersonal qualities: Rigor, precision, attention to detail and patience. Ability to lift loads and perform manual work phases (clamping). Flexibility: Availability for work cycles organized in 3x8 shifts and weekends (VSD).
