Job offer : VIP Proximity Technician (M/F)

Our IT specialized team is recruiting for its client, a VIP Proximity Technician M/F for a 6-month service provision in Saint-Herblain (44).

Start date: as soon as possible

Your main missions will be as follows:

• Proximity assistance and incident handling (L2) : Hardware/software diagnostics and troubleshooting on workstations, phones, and tablets.
• Support and training: Awareness and onboarding of users on cloud office suite applications.
• Hardware and equipment management : Fleet replacement (PC and mobile), IT park standardization, and technical preparation of meeting spaces.
• Mobile fleet management: Administration of a fleet of 1,700 multi-operator iOS/Android terminals.
• VIP support and enhanced management : Dedicated support for executive profiles (with possibility of on-call duty).
• Activity tracking and escalation : Coordination with L3 experts until complex cases are closed, drafting activity summaries, and facilitating follow-up meetings with IT managers.

Profile sought:

Experience and Education

• Holder of an IT degree (Bac+2 to Bac+5 or equivalent certification).
• Proven successful initial practice in a proximity support or field technician role.
• Driving license B mandatory to ensure interventions in the Nantes / Saint-Herblain and Angers area, with occasional travel to the Grenoble site.

Technical skills

• Mastery of recent operating systems (Windows 10 / 11) and corporate directory (Active Directory).
• Administration and user support on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Use of software distribution and fleet management tools (e.g., SCCM).
• Proven troubleshooting methodology and application deployment.

• Interpersonal skills : Impeccable oral and written fluency to interact naturally with any type of interlocutor.
• Service orientation : Keen sense of user satisfaction, listening posture, and ability to simplify technical concepts.
• Rigor and autonomy : Method, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize interventions without permanent supervision.
• Proactivity and curiosity : Constant desire to explore new technologies and expand one's scope of intervention.
