The role
The ERGOS Roussillon agency is recruiting refuse collectors (M/F)!
You will be in charge of collecting household waste bins and selective sorting bags.
Regarding the selective sorting bags, you must ensure that sorting rules are respected before collecting them.
You will need to demonstrate agility and speed to complete the route (tour of the municipalities to be collected) within the deadlines indicated by your team members. You will have to constantly get in and out of the truck at every stop of the collection vehicle. You will ensure that you are careful and rigorous, and that you maintain the safety bar properly.
Working conditions
- Very early hours,
- Outdoor work in all weather,
- Work in the middle of traffic,
- Carrying heavy loads,
- Odorous and noisy environment.
At the end of the route, you will have to participate in cleaning the truck with a high-pressure jet.
Mission start generally around 4:30 AM until the end of the route. You will work from Monday to Saturday. Wearing PPE is mandatory and can be provided to you if you do not have any.
OCCASIONAL / SHORT / LONG-TERM MISSION ACCORDING TO CLIENT NEEDS. HOURLY RATE: €12.85 MEAL ALLOWANCE: €6.12/DAY BONUS: €4.28/DAY MISCELLANEOUS BONUS: €36/MONTH
The profile we're looking for
Do you have initial experience as a refuse collector / garbage collector? If not, you must enjoy physical and outdoor work. Are you not afraid of working in the rain or in high heat?
