Job offer : International Field Service Technician (M/F)

Presentation:

Position to be filled on a permanent contract (CDI) within the group based in Mulhouse, specializing in conveying and material handling systems for the industry, particularly cement plants. Within the Valter section, you will join a dynamic international company working on major industrial installations.

Reporting to the Valter section dedicated to cement plants, you will work mainly internationally to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of already installed conveying infrastructures. The position involves almost exclusive travel abroad with occasional presence at the Mulhouse headquarters for administrative follow-up.

Missions:

• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of conveying installations and equipment on client sites (cement plants) internationally.
• Technical diagnosis, troubleshooting, and optimization of the operation of handling lines and infrastructures.
• Independently manage the logistics of your international travel (ticket bookings, accommodation, etc.).
• Eventually intervene in support and training for teams or stakeholders on site.
• Use CAD tools to consult and utilize technical plans of installations during interventions.
• Guarantee strict compliance with safety standards and technical procedures at all intervention sites.

Profile sought:

• Electrotechnician training or equivalent diploma in industrial maintenance.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, ideally acquired in the energy sector (biomass boilers, household waste incinerators, or with players such as Engie, Dalkia, Idex, Veolia, Paprek).
• Mastery of technical English is essential (minimum B2 level) to communicate easily in the field internationally.
• Notions/Mastery of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools.
• Autonomy, responsiveness, great availability for international travel, and a strong taste for travel.

• Contract type: Full-time CDI (Non-managerial status) Recruitment guarantee period: 3 months
• Location & Travel: Attached to the Mulhouse headquarters, very frequent international travel (Turkey, Germany, England, United Arab Emirates, USA, etc.)
• Remuneration: €35,000 to €40,000 gross/year (adjustable according to profile and experience)
• Bonuses: Quarterly attendance bonus (up to 10 hours paid at the hourly rate) + Specific international travel bonuses and allowances (€15/night while traveling, €60/weekend worked, overnight allowance adapted to the local cost of living)
