The role

Your missions will be as follows

Technical development

  • Develop, validate and optimize mass spectrometry methods (LC-MS, LC-MSMS, GC-MS, ICP-MS, etc.)
  • Select the most appropriate analytical conditions according to the nature of the samples and the objectives (sensitivity, specificity, robustness, etc.)
  • Propose areas for improvement in conjunction with biologists and technicians
  • Assist in the commissioning of new equipment or new methods: preparation of specifications and impact measurement
  • Supervise the testing and development phases of new methods
  • Participate in the development of sample preparation protocols
  • Break down and analyze the various stages of operating protocols to make them reliable

Project management

  • Manage analytical development projects, from the design phase to production
  • Draft technical documentation (protocols, validation reports, operating procedures, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines, budgets and regulatory requirements (Cofrac, Cap, etc.)

Scientific & technological monitoring

  • Propose technical or methodological improvements
  • Participate in scientific and technological monitoring on high-throughput sequencing approaches and library preparation methods, in conjunction with biologists
  • Evaluate and integrate new mass spectrometry technologies or instruments

Training of technical teams

  • Implement a feedback system to identify blocking points and areas for improvement
  • Design internal training modules and/or train staff on new procedures and techniques

Production support

  • Assist in diagnosis and problem solving.
  • Monitor performance.

The profile we're looking for

  • You hold an engineering degree obtained from a school specializing in analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, or instrumentation, or a Master's degree (specializing in analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, environment, or formulation or in analytical sciences and instrumentation).
  • You master analytical techniques: LCMS LCMSMS GC HPLC UHPLC ICP
  • You master scientific and technical English: Reading documentation, writing reports, exchanges with international partners.
  • You have good knowledge of analytical instruments: Installation, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting; Data acquisition and processing software
  • You develop and validate analytical methods according to state-of-the-art practices
  • You are rigorous in the analysis and interpretation of results
  • You are autonomous in the development and validation of LCMS methods
  • You enjoy teamwork
