Job offer : Design Office Calculator (M/F)

The ACTUAL recruitment agency is looking for a DESIGN OFFICE CALCULATOR (M/F) in the field of steel structures for its client. Within a company specializing in steel structures, you will be in charge of:

• Performing calculations and dimensioning of steel structures.
• Studying technical files and analyzing plans.
• Designing and dimensioning steel framework elements: beams, columns, purlins, bracing, connections, etc.
• Producing calculation notes and verifying the stability of structures.
• Carrying out load descents and necessary verifications.
• Participating in the design and optimization of structures.
• Verifying the compliance of studies with current standards and regulations.
• Working in collaboration with draftsmen, project managers, site managers, and manufacturing teams.
• Providing technical support to the various project stakeholders.
• Participating in the monitoring and finalization of files until their completion.

This permanent position (CDI) is to be filled immediately.

39 hours per week.

Salary based on experience in a range of 30K to 40K gross annual + Profit sharing + PEE + PERCOI + Health insurance

Ideally with a Bac+2 initial training in the field of steel construction, civil engineering, or structures, you have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position.

You have good skills in

Strength of materials (RDM).

Calculation and dimensioning of steel structures.

Reading and creating plans.

Construction standards related to buildings: DTU, CM66, Addendum, and Eurocodes.

Use of IT tools and technical software. Proficiency in AutoCAD (drawing and reading plans) is desired.

Proficiency in Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis and/or Melody is a real asset.

Knowledge in legal and economic fields related to construction projects will also be appreciated.
