The role

Actual talent METZ is recruiting for its client specializing in IT support, a Systems Administrator (M/F) for a temporary assignment as a maternity leave replacement.

Contract: Temporary assignment of 4 to 6 months
Start date: During September
Salary from 32k to 33k depending on profile and experience

Here are the tasks that will be entrusted to you

Administer and optimize the virtualization platform (vSphere / VMware) to ensure service continuity.
Manage the Synology NAS storage infrastructure and ensure its proper functioning.
Manage and control the global backup strategy via Veeam Backup.
Perform monthly patching and security updates for the environment (Windows Server and Linux Debian).
Provide a responsive level of technical support and keep infrastructure documentation up to date.

The profile we're looking for

Profile sought:

Bachelor's degree to Master's degree in IT / systems and networks
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar systems administrator position
Solid skills in Windows Server and Linux Debian administration
Operational technical English (reading/writing documentation)
Autonomy and sense of priorities
Rigor and methodology in managing updates
