Job offer : General Merchandise Manager (M/F)

ACTUAL EXPERTS GRANDE DISTRIBUTION Paris is a subsidiary of the Actual group. We are experts in recruiting profiles for food industry trades. We are looking for a General Merchandise Manager (M/F) for our clients located in the 91 area near Arpajon.

YOUR MISSIONS:

• Manage the operating account of the departments and guarantee results in terms of turnover, margin, personnel costs, purchases, and stock
• Ensure the analysis of market studies and competition, and determine a commercial strategy to set the best selling prices for the merchandise you order
• Master management software: computerized tools for tracking sales, purchases, margins, and profitability
• Define department layouts and promotional actions; ensure relationships with suppliers, in compliance with the store's commercial and marketing policy
• In collaboration with your team, participate in sales and ensure compliance with current standards and regulations. Guarantee the quality of products and service provided to customers (welcome, information, good knowledge of the products offered, loyalty)
• Supervise and lead a team of employees, ensuring a good working atmosphere within your team; ensure the recruitment, integration, and evaluation of employees.

Hours: Daytime work

Remuneration: €2,400 gross minimum, variable according to experience + 13th month.

Profile sought:

• Commercial, management, or sales training (BAC+2)
• First experience in a store in the Permanent General Merchandise department.
• You have a sense of sales, you have excellent interpersonal skills (customers and team)
