Job offer : Naval joiner and fitter (M/F)

Are you a professional passionate about the naval sector? Actual is looking for a Naval joiner (m/f) for an exciting mission in Lorient.

Integrated into a dynamic shipyard, your main mission will be to carry out steel fitting work. Your expertise will be required for the manufacturing and assembly of complex metal structures.

Your main missions

You will work on reading and interpreting technical drawings, taking precise measurements, tracing, and adjusting parts. You will also ensure the cutting, assembly, and installation of steel elements, as well as the creation of partitions, cladding, and metal supports. Finally, you will be responsible for finishing work on site, while strictly respecting safety and quality standards.

Profile sought

You have solid experience in naval fitting or metallurgy. Your rigor, precision, and ability to read plans are essential assets to succeed in this position.

To excel as a Naval joiner, you must possess advanced technical mastery of custom fitting and an excellent understanding of the specific constraints of the nautical environment.

The ideal candidate has significant experience in joinery fitting, ideally acquired in the naval or nautical sector.

You demonstrate great rigor and constant attention to detail, which are essential for achieving aesthetic and durable finishes on board ships.

Possession of a CAP, BEP, or Bac Pro diploma in joinery is highly appreciated to validate your fundamental technical skills.

An ability to read complex plans as well as ease in using machine tools are decisive assets for carrying out your missions with autonomy and professionalism.
