
Job offer : Mechanic (M/F)
The role
Within a dynamic, human-sized team (about 6 people), you report directly to the Workshop Manager. You ensure the complete maintenance (technical, safety, presentation) of the fleet of equipment offered for rental in order to guarantee its reliability and ensure impeccable customer service.
Your main missions
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform 1st level maintenance (preventive maintenance and repairs) in accordance with technical directives. Carry out diagnostics, detect breakdowns, and occasionally perform repairs on-site.
- Check equipment upon entry and exit from rental (in the absence of the Fleet Manager).
- Ensure the proper execution of regulatory checks (VGP) and immediately resolve any observations.
- Administrative management & Workshop monitoring: Follow the schedule established by your manager and complete maintenance files throughout the interventions.
- Manage the state of the fleet (physical and digital) and inform management about the stock status of parts and consumables.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the workshop, tools, and vehicles.
- QSE commitments & Versatility: Apply safety rules (wearing PPE), ISO standards, and participate in safety meetings. Participate in responsible waste management and adopt eco-driving during your travels.
- Use the group's digital tools (smartphone for equipment tracking, ERP, HR tools).
- Demonstrate versatility to help your colleagues when needed and join the on-call team.
The profile we're looking for
Technical skills & Certifications
- Technical expertise: You possess solid knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, or pneumatics, allowing you to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment.
- Licenses & Authorizations: You hold a B license (light vehicle driving) and ideally the necessary authorizations (electrical, CACES/machinery operation).
- Digital proficiency: You are comfortable using digital tools and management software (ERP, smartphone applications).
Human qualities & Soft skills
- Rigor & Safety: You are particularly attentive to compliance with safety standards and quality procedures.
- Service orientation & Team spirit: Available, attentive, and customer-satisfaction oriented, you enjoy working in a team and demonstrate versatility to ensure service continuity.
