Job offer : Freelance Java / Angular Lead Developer (M/F) - Lyon
The role
We are looking for a Java / Angular Lead Developer to technically lead a critical operations application dedicated to the processing and monitoring of sensitive industrial materials, hosted on the infrastructure of a major energy group.
YOUR MISSIONS
Hands-on development (60 to 70%): design and development of robust features, with a strong backend focus (70% Java / Spring Boot) and a frontend contribution (30% Angular). Technical leadership (30 to 40%): supervision and skill development of a team of 7 developers, code reviews, architecture decisions, and securing production deployments. Quality & reliability: driving the technical roadmap, managing technical debt via SonarQube, and transitioning automated tests to Playwright (gradual replacement of Selenium).
EXPECTED PROFILE
Senior developer experienced in the Java / Spring Boot stack with good Angular practice. Solid culture of software quality, automated testing, and high availability. Team spirit, rigor in the face of the requirements of a sensitive production environment, and a desire to mentor a team (previous Lead experience is a plus, but not mandatory). Very experienced profile, having already held a technical lead role or supported a team.
TERMS: 3 days of remote work / week
