Job offer : Regulatory Compliance Engineer (M/F)
The role
Your main mission is to ensure the regulatory and normative compliance of the equipment designed by PACK’R throughout its entire life cycle, from the design phases to its market launch internationally.
As a true technical reference in terms of regulations, you will work transversally with the R&D, Design Office, and production teams to integrate normative requirements from the early stages of projects and secure the compliance of machines in demanding technical environments.
Your missions
International compliance & regulation
- Ensure equipment compliance with European and international regulations (including US markets)
- Integrate normative requirements from the design phases in liaison with technical teams
- Adapt solutions to the regulatory constraints of the implementation zones
Certifications & marking
- Manage CE marking and equipment certification processes
- Ensure relations with notified bodies
- Monitor international certifications (UL, NTEP, etc.)
Technical documentation
- Develop and maintain regulatory technical files
- Perform risk analyses and formalize associated documents
- Ensure traceability and updating of documents
Regulatory technical expertise
- Provide expertise on ATEX subjects, legal metrology (MID, NTEP), and pressure equipment (PED)
- Contribute to the design of compliant machines by integrating regulatory constraints
Internal support & guidance
- Support and train teams on regulatory requirements
- Disseminate best practices within technical teams
- Participate in the drafting of machine manuals
Regulatory monitoring
- Ensure active normative and regulatory monitoring
- Anticipate developments and propose necessary adaptations
The profile we're looking for
With a Master's degree (engineering school), you have at least 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance in an industrial environment.
You have
- a solid mastery of CE regulations (Machinery, ATEX), knowledge of international standards (UL, OSHA, ASME, etc.), expertise or interest in legal metrology (MID, NTEP) and pressure equipment (PED), and the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams
Comfortable with technical English, you will work in an international environment.
