Job offer : Application Portfolio Director (M/F) – Interim Management
The role
As part of a transformation of its IT department, a large multi-site services group is looking for an Application Portfolio Director (M/F) for interim management.
Reporting to the France Information Systems Department, you will take charge of managing and transforming a complex application portfolio in a multi-business and multi-establishment environment.
You will act at the interface of business lines, application teams, Infrastructure, the Group IT department, as well as strategic partners and vendors.
Your main challenges:
- Define and manage the evolution and urbanization strategy of the application portfolio.
- Ensure the reliability of the application mapping and build the target trajectory.
- Manage portfolio rationalization, decommissioning, and the reduction of technical debt.
- Control risks related to obsolescence, security, compliance, and business continuity.
- Challenge business needs and contribute to the roadmaps of different domains.
- Ensure the articulation between applications and infrastructures: cloud, hosting, networks, and cybersecurity.
- Manage partners, vendors, and strategic service contracts.
- Represent the interests of the France IT department in a matrix Group environment.
- Manage and unite application managers, architects, and experts around a common trajectory.
The profile sought:
You ideally have fifteen years or more of experience in information systems, acquired within complex organizations or large groups.
You have significant experience in:
- application portfolio management;
- enterprise architecture and IS urbanization;
- transformation and rationalization of application portfolios;
- management of expert teams and cross-functional leadership;
- multi-site / multi-establishment environments;
- close collaboration with Infrastructure teams;
- management of vendors, suppliers, and service level agreements.
Experience in a highly regulated sector or a complex multi-site operational environment is a real asset.
